A while back, you may have seen a little illustration I did of the Master Chief inspired by the Power Puff Girls. See, I was a big fan of the PPG back in the days, to the point of owning the DVD’s. My daughter loves to watch them now, and while I was watching over her shoulder, I thought it would be funny to draw the Chief that way. I sketched a couple doodles on a notepad, then took it a little further. Well, once I had the bug in my brain, I couldn’t let it go. So without further ado, meet…

Only Mildly Threatening

I was just digging through some old emails, and I found this little beauty. Back in 2008 when I was leaving EALA to go up to MGS and work on Gears of War, one of the Medal of Honor concept artists, Toby Wilson, drew this little charicature of me in COG armor. The hat is one of our Medal of Honor Airborne ball caps, and it was a staple of my wardrobe while at EA.

Chief has a Cute.

Cute ChiefWhen I was younger, I was a big fan of a lot of the Cartoon Network original toons – Dexters Lab, Samurai Jack, and of course, the Power Puff Girls. I even bought the DVDs. These days, my daughter loves to watch the PPGs, and while watching it the other day, I sketched up a Chief. Then I refined it a bit.
